OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR “SMEG Espresso machine” Contest, hereinafter called the “Contest”.

HOW TO ENTER No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. To enter the Contest (the “Contest”), simply scan the QR code and enter www.euro-line-appliances.com/smeg-contest to win or visit  or mail your entry to:

Contest entries will be collected between June 7, 2018 and June 16, 2018 (the “Contest Period”).

The Contest closes on June 16, 2018. Your entry must be received within the Contest Period. All eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be entered into the Random Draw (see below). Limit of one entry per person per day during the Contest Period. The Contest is sponsored by Euro-Line Appliances Inc.,  Homefront magazine and BCS Communications Ltd. (“Sponsors”).

ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to all legal residents of British Columbia and Ontario who are 25 years of age or older. Employees of Sponsors, and of distributors, wholesalers, retailers, subsidiaries, affiliates of Sponsors, and of related companies or agencies, the prize suppliers or the independent contest organization, and those with whom such employees are domiciled are not eligible. The selected contestants will be required, within 14 days of notification, to sign and return a release of liability form (“Release”), releasing Sponsors, its subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, the prize suppliers and their respective directors, officers, owners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (“Releases”) from any liability in connection with the Contest and the prize. If the Sponsors are not able to contact the selected contestants or the selected contestants do not submit the Release within the specified time, they will be deemed to have forfeited the prize. The Sponsors will then draw the name of another contestant from the pool and repeat the process until an eligible winner is awarded the Prize.

PRIZES

ODDS OF WINNING

The odds of winning the Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries submitted to the Contest.

RANDOM DRAW

Random draws for the Prize Winner will be conducted by the independent contest organization in Toronto monthly. The prize draw will be held on or around June 20, 2018 from all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by phone or email no later than 15 business days after the closing date of the contest. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer unaided a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question that will be asked during the notification phone call.

MISCELLANEOUS

These rules govern all aspects of this Contest and are binding on all participants. By entering this Contest, Contestant is deemed to have agreed to abide by the Contest rules and regulations. The Prize must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions and is non-transferable. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability for whatever reason of the Prize, or any component of the Prize. Sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed or illegible entries. Without limitation, Sponsors will not be liable or responsible for any claim, injury or damage arising from this contest or prize awarded in this contest.

Sponsors reserve the right to withdraw or amend this contest in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Sponsors that interferes with the proper conduct of this contest as contemplated by these Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Sponsors are not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend or amend the rules at any time without notice, subject to approval.

This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

By entering this contest, you consent to the Sponsors, its promotional agencies and contest judges, storing and using the personal information you submitted with your entry for the purpose of administering the contest and to provide further information in accordance with Sponsors’ privacy policies.
